2. Font type
As for the font type you also need to make sure that it is comfortable for the reader to understand. A lot of people like to get fancy with their fonts. Fancy font is okay for things like headers, but you should keep a font that is very generic when it comes to the body of the websites. You will want to pick your fonts carefully, because they need to be readable. You’ll find that sans serif fonts are just easier on the eyes. You’ll find that Arial is the most used font. You can always go with Times New Roman. It’s all up to your preference, but it needs to be readable.

3. Color
You will need to pick a color scheme that is readable and used throughout the website pages. You will want to make sure that if you go with a color that you don’t allow it to blend into the background. So if you have a dark background then you’ll want to have a lighter color for the writing. You’ll want to have a darker color for the font if the background is white or a lighter color.
